Chocolate chip cookies are classic no matter what time of the year it is. I love them crispy, full of melty chocolate with a hint of caramel taste coming from the dark brown sugar… Mmm!
- 200g granulated sugar
- 220g dark brown sugar
- 390g flour – sifted
- 230g butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tbsp Vanilla Extract
- ½ tsp salt
- 350g chocolate chips and/or chocolate
Mix the butter with the granulated and brown sugar, vanilla and one of the eggs until creamy. Mix the flour, salt and baking soda and add them into the butter mixture. Combine until you get a hardish batter, then you are ready to add the chocolate chips. Mix until you are sure that the chocolate is evenly distributed into the batter. Once you arrange the cookies on your baking tray, decorate each cookie with chocolate chips on top.
Bake in preheated oven on 180C for 20-25 minutes.
These cookies are perfect for any occasion, especially during Christmas! So easy and so tasty – what more can you ask from a cookie!
