Dark and White Crepes



  • 5 large Eggs
  • 300ml Milk
  • 300ml Water
  • 280g Flower
  • For Dark Crepes seperate half of the prepared batter and add:
  • 2 tablespoons Cocoa powder
  • 50ml Water
  • 5 tablespoons Icing Sugar
  • 50g butter for greasing


In a large bowl break in your eggs and beat them until smooth. Add the milk and beat until they come together. Add half of the flour and beat until smooth. Add the water and the remaining flour and beat until smooth.

Seperate the mixture into 2 equal parts. Add the cocoa powder and the sugar to one of them and beat until smooth. Add the extra 50 ml water to the cocoa batter. Place a non sticking pan on the stove on a medium low temperature.

Add 1 scoop of the batter and let it cook (you will know if it’s cooked if you are able to detach it from the pan), then flip it over to the other side and cook it for another minute or so. Take it off from the pan, place it on a plate and grease it with butter. Repeat the same with the cocoa batter. Fill with anything you love – we used white cheese for the savory ones and Nutella for the cocoa ones. Serve immediately after you prepare them.

This recipe is great for preparing breakfast or dessert for events.
