- 3 large Eggs (in the video 2 of our eggs had double yolks!)
- 300g Flour
- 300g Sugar
- 50g Sunflower Oil
- 5 tablespoons cocoa (unsweetened)
- 250ml Milk
- 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
- ½ teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1 tablespoon Vanilla Extract
Baking time: 55 min
Bake in 180C preheated oven
In your mixing bowl, place the eggs and the sugar and beat until you get plain yellowish fluffy mixture. Add the baking powder and baking soda and then the vanilla extract. Add the oil and beat until it incorporates with the batter. Add half of the milk and half of the flour and mix until smooth. Add the remaining milk and flour and repeat.
Butter a pan and pour in about ½ of the batter. Add the cocoa powder to the remaining batter and beat until it comes together. Pour it into the pan and stir with a toothpick to create an infusion look between the white and cocoa batter.
Bake for about 35 minutes in preheated oven on 180C.
Once out of the oven, let the cake cool down.
